Their Canon

Flynn is a wild gentleman. Being the calm and patient type, he can seem docile in the Spider-Society. He appears to follow Miguel's orders without question, with only calculation and no hesitation on the hunt; the reality is that he trusts Miguel to make the right calls, which causes Miguel to consider his actions more carefully.Both of these men are quite curious. Behind closed doors, Flynn has many questions whenever they're working out plans and decisions. Despite how easygoing he can be, as one of the first recruits and Miguel's long-time shadow, he is not to be poked and prodded simply due to that. Their relationship began as quite friendly. Although they lack the Spider-Sense most other Spiders boast, their instincts resonate with each other. "You're like me," they said long ago.Through Miguel, Flynn found a new purpose for himself that didn't stem from guilt. The sun rises for another now, and so it shall make the moon shine. This is not done out of a sense of debt; only want. Their roads are lonely ones that should be shared, after all.Flynn and Miguel spent a number of their early days venturing through other worlds — hiking in the wilderness, eating at restaurants, tag-teaming recruitment when they found the opportunity, and more. A rhythm was easy for them to find. Even with odd discoveries and uncertainties, their resolutions were quiet things. Their louder moments were not in arguments but impassioned research. While both men were typically reticent by habit, open communication was no difficulty between them. Flynn handled Miguel's impatience with his own patience, and Miguel encouraged Flynn to speak his mind more.While at a glance they might seem quite different, they have strong similarities.

The Prince & The Angel
🔭🕊️

Earth-928's Flynn O'Wild (🔭) is a selenologist who resides on the moon more often than not. He was adopted by a guardian whose parenting led him to be one of the first humans "returned" to the moon before the public train was built, a solitary trailblazer. Although he's completed the appropriate studies and has made a name for himself in the field, he cares little for being called Doctor O'Wild or even Mister O'Wild. He seems to only care for the moon.Earth-888's Miguel of the Wind (🕊️) is an "animal", specifically a turtledove, who was raised from an early age in a temple after he was separated from his pitying. Although he was found by the other actual turtledoves a few days later, he chose to stay and is visited often. When he officially became a temple maiden, he was dubbed Aria of the Vernal Wind in acknowledgement of his arrival; thus, he can be referred to as Aria.Flynn and Miguel met in an anomalous event. The fabric of reality glitched near Miguel and caused him to fall through the moon's sky, too shocked to use his wings, and he was caught in Flynn's arms. What happened could only be called love at first sight.Despite having a guest room, Miguel came to share a bed with Flynn very frequently. Their natural, immense curiosities meant they figured out what happened sooner than later.It took a long time for the anomaly to show up in the Society systems because before, all E-928 anomalies only showed up on the planet Earth. Miguel was the sole moon-based anomaly. On top of this, he did not glitch and would have passed as a 928 resident if it weren't for his avian features. When Spiders arrived to fix the situation, it was too late: Miguel was expecting children. Special calculations had to be made to ensure their respective realities would remain stable.

Wild Wolf & Dear Dog
🐺🐶

There is a world where hybrids exist, straddling the lines of human and animal. Many are wild, plenty are domesticated. It is a little odd, but to its residents, everything makes sense. Hybrids are born as animals that have a certain scent that, to full animals, indicate what they truly are. At an early age, they transform into a hybrid form. A majority of them are human with minor animal traits, with a few able to access a more anthropomophic form. All of them, like any living creature, have varying degrees of intelligence.Flynn (🐺) is a hybrid of the Canis lupus occidentalis, a Northwestern wolf. He was born in the wild and abandoned as a pup, before he gained his hybrid form. Against these odds, he survived. He is a quiet wolf who has a good grasp at human language but is not very confident in his words. Towering over humans and even many hybrids, he has little to fear as this type of apex predator.Miguel (🐶) is a hybrid of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog breed, specifically a Ruby Cavalier. Similarly abandoned when young, he was found out in the rain and brought into a shelter, where he was raised until he gained his hybrid form. Not long after that, he found his forever home with the first human who adopted him. Miguel is a cheerful dog who remembers little of that cold, frightening night, only able to speak in short words. He adores cute things and wearing cute clothes, spoiled by his owner. He has a knack for tinkering with human contraptions.It was at a park that Miguel met Flynn. Miguel had wandered after a butterfly while his owner wasn't looking, getting lost in the nearby woods. Flynn helped him find his way back to the increasingly frantic human. Following the duo home, he became a regular visitor that scares the owner. Miguel, on the other hand, was simply happy that his new best friend was around so much.Eventually, there came a day when Flynn learned that humans called mating marriage, and he asked Miguel's owner for his blessing.

God AU
🏔️🧶

In these ancient times, there are gods. Before those ancient times, there was a primordial era. Between them, there was a war that marked change for the ruler of them all.The primordial era saw no mortals, only immortals. Gods. The Wayfarer of Worlds — the god of nature — his name was Flynn (🏔️), and he crafted the flora and fauna that filled the world. He wandered throughout the land, and it was like this that he met the only other resident: the Mother of Gods, the god of fate, Miguel (🧶). Miguel was nursing a godling, and it was for him that Flynn made turtledoves to be his eyes and ears, to be gentle to him.Miguel's godlings did not come from his body, but from the world. He cared for them in their early years as their personal domains grew elsewhere, and when they no longer needed his milk and warmth, he had to turn them over to their attendants in said domains. Flynn would have finished crafting animals for the godling by then, which would accompany them there. Mortals in the silhouettes of gods came into being too, tending to one another as Miguel wove a web of life and destiny from red threads.Unbeknownst to all, more than godlings and humans sprung up. It was against entities like titans that the gods came to war against. And it was here that Miguel was forgotten as a mother, remembered instead as the King of Gods he had to be to lead them to victory.Because no more godlings were fated to come into being, Miguel took residence in a lonely temple. He set down his warmth and became cold, for the numbness would ensure he'd no longer be hurt by his children forgetting their mother. Flynn could only bear witness, supporting Miguel whenever he journeyed to the temple, trying to ensure he'd still remember how to smile the way he once did.

Arbok & Sylveon AU
☠️🎀

Flynn (☠️) is a wild Arbok who has not had a very significant life. As an Arbok, he has the distinct patterns on his cheeks and body that are meant to frighten others who look his way, with a forked tongue and a serpentine tail. All very normal besides having a not very snake-like name. He is an adamant loner who helps the other Pokémon in his forest, nursing the injured back to health.Miguel (🎀), called Nymphia by some, is a trained Sylveon who was initially partnered from childhood. As a timid Eevee, his Trainer expected him to become an Umbreon, only for a coincidence and an incident to evolve him into a Sylveon. Despite his battle prowess, fueled by desperation and love, he was eventually released no matter how much he begged to stay.Flynn found Miguel after the latter had run deep into the forest and collapsed from sorrow and exhaustion. Rescuing him before predator Pokémon could come out for the night, he spent many days with Miguel and chose to go with him into the city when the latter wanted to find another Trainer.

Rayquaza & Ho-Oh AU
🌌🌈

It took a long time for two deities of the sky to meet. Flynn (🌌), known to most as Rayquaza, spends most of his time in the ozone layer, descending only to quell not just the battles between Groudon and Kyogre, but that of other Pokémon if they catch his attention. Miguel (🌈), known to most as Ho-Oh, is a silent resident of the forest surrounding Bell Tower and Bellchime Trail, guarding the rest of the skies. By pure coincidence, they cross one another's paths.Flynn often rests atop mountains if he's in Rayquaza form, preferring to meet the ground instead of forging a fleeting tower of clouds to slumber on. Because he traverses the planet and surrounding space while awake, he does not sleep atop Sky Pillar much. In contrast, Miguel hides in a cavern covered by ancient trees. He sleeps in human form upon a nest that holds abandoned plushies.

Eon Duo AU
🔷🔻

Away from their flocks, a Latios named Flynn (🔷) and a Latias named Miguel (🔻) happily travel together. They had the fortune of growing up together, being childhood sweethearts who wished to see the world for themselves one day.Their powerful illusion abilities help them pass as completely normal humans, allowing them to enjoy different sides of life without interruption. If anyone recognized them, they would most often see them on dates, never apart from the other.As for their Latios and Latias forms, they only fly above the ocean or high above the land, avoiding overeager Trainers who would want to capture them. Their aerial movements can be described as highly coordinated and spectacular, a leftover from quietly competitive spirits when they used to be with a flock.

The Emanators
🪶🥀

In a era of devastating Propagation, only one survived the Destruction of the empire he served since he was first drawn from the land. With every death cutting through his mind relentlessly, Flynn (🪶) took to the skies after a strike that splintered cores, only to remain alive amongst the stars. He became a Memokeeper in order to not just preserve the memories of his slain brethren, but to distance himself from his own recollection, lest the grief truly burn him into madness once more. Hard scales gave way for soft feathers...In a planet's forced journey to Nihility, a single warrior fell prey to its shadow as he was forced to fight that of his comrades. Miguel (🥀) lost many of his memories when his very being was forced towards Self-Annihilation. Wandering the world with little purpose, he became a guide despite having no guidance for himself. His empty gaze has found faintly familiar faces, but through the muffled snow of his mind, he cannot place them any longer. Once-brilliant petals fall one by one...Flynn and Miguel met by chance. The winter moon of Miguel's mind in shadow, Flynn approached him with the intent to let its light be cast once more. However, the volatility and similarities of their memories meant that this would not be a short process at all, and it was decided quietly that they would keep trying — even if it meant Flynn had to bring his own memories into focus to do this....Even when Miguel turned his blades into a single sword to draw, all he remembered felt like a dream, a fantasy, an intangible thing that could not be woven into light. Simply watching echoes of his past live did not convince him that, perhaps, he never woke up. But when Flynn gently grasped his hand and gave him a clear memory of it to hold — he smiled.
